STS-125 Launch - 3

The Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB) have ignited and Atlantis is off the pad, note the glare from the SRB on the right (Time 38 secs).

Atlantis is well clear of the pad and is rotating to the correct orientation so it can rendezvous with Hubble. Note the brightness of the SRB plume and the pad at the  bottom of the photograph hidden by that wall of steam and smoke) (Time 44 secs).
