This page is an introduction to my “Western Odyssey” in April / May 2008 that can be most easily be broken down into three parts:

• The first part was a journey up the West Coast from San Diego to Seattle visiting a number of aircraft museums and similar sites (such as an Aviation Themed restaurant in Los Angeles).
• The second was the trip from Seattle into Canada to the start of the Alaska Highway at Dawson Creek BC and then along the highway through the Yukon to Fairbanks Alaska and on to the Arctic Circle.  Then is was around Alaska to Anchorage and then back down through Canada to Seattle.
• The final part covers a brief visit to Honolulu in Hawaii to, among other things, allow me to finally have visited all 50 US States (I’m still thinking about what to do about the Territories).
