This look at the KSC Rocket Garden concludes with a look at the Space Shuttle era.

Note: With the opening of the Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit this part of the Visitors Centre will have changed.

First is a External Tank and Solid Rocket Booster stack.  I believe these have now been moved close to the building where the Space Shuttle Atlantis (that flew STS-125) is displayed.

There was a large Space Shuttle mockup that allowed you to look at areas not normally accessible on the real thing.

One area you could look into was the cargo bay, there was a mockup of a satellite and its support / deployment system.

Finally parked near the Space Shuttle mockup was one of the T-38 trainers used by the astronauts to maintain their flying skills.
